So much has happened since my last post way back in June...for starters I've got a whole new website which I'm outrageously excited about! The process to getting the new website has definitely NOT been outrageously exciting, but let's put that aside and focus on the future, because nobody wants to relive the last few months - seriously. Special props to my boss/friend/legend of a human being Joel for helping me put everything together. And of course to Ez for his patience and not letting me give up for the millionth time. Hopefully now that we are finally here we can put all the heated discussions about 'stop making excuses and just hurry up and do it' behind us - love you :) So now that that's out of the way, a quick life update...
Ez and I have moved houses twice since June, and will be moving again in Feb (for the last time in a long time, in Jesus name) as well as traveled to Thailand, Gold Coast, Europe, and Lakes Entrance (to drop our dog off at my brothers house while we went jet setting). It has been a crazy, full and adventurous year, and I seriously can't believe it's coming to an end - how did that even happen?
With Christmas just around the corner, I have some more exciting news - Ez and I are having a baby. Haha jokes I was totally going for the shock value there. I just wanted to see what people would think if this was how we announced it. Totally not having a baby (sorry) - unless you call starting a business having a baby? It's been a pretty painful experience getting here so you could compare it with having a baby? OK I'll stop with the baby jokes now. But I've finally got some things up for sale which I've been working on amongst all our travels and life adventures.
I've been experimenting with calligraphy for over a year now, and only just feeling like I'm finding my own style (which is still ever changing) but I'm looking forward to sharing some of my pieces with you. One of my main motivations was the fact that I promised a friend of mine I would make a piece for her daughter who was born in March. Well 7 months later and better late than never, I finally delivered. And it was such a good feeling seeing the finished product, it left me wanting to create more and more. So back to Christmas being just around the corner - I have made some Chrissy cards you can buy! Yay! You can thank me later for reminding you to get in early to actually get some nice Christmas cards, rather than the last minute rush down to Coles or the $2 shop. You're welcome.
Well that's the end of my sales pitch, but all that aside, and for the hundredth time I really am so excited to be back writing again, and I look forward to sharing many more adventures to come.
